News: Quantee Advisory Board

Three well-known and widely-respected insurance industry leaders, David Schapiro, Stuart Middleton and Peter Törnquist, have joined the newly formed Advisory Board of Quantee – the Insurtech offering a next-generation dynamic pricing platform.

October 2022, apart from acquiring new customers and partners, marked a significant milestone for laying Quantee’s growth foundations. After securing a funding round a few months ago and establishing local teams in the Spanish and UK markets in recent months, in October Quantee accomplished another important step and formed an outstanding Advisory Board.

David Schapiro, Stuart Middleton and Peter Törnquist have joined the Quantee Advisory Board and will work closely with the Quantee founders and leadership team on the growth and product strategy, company vision, go-to-market approach and fundraising. Each of the Advisory Board members brings tremendous industry expertise and experience and represents completely different backgrounds and unique perspectives.

David Schapiro is a Non-Executive Director at ManyPets, Co-Founder of Planck, Director at Ahoy! Insurance, and advisor to Sayata. From 2006-2017 David was the CEO of Earnix leading the company from a small startup to one of the leading analytical Insurtech players.

Stuart Middleton leads a quote and bind platform in Spain (WeBind), which he co-founded. His previous experience includes many successful years with such brands as hubb, Hiscox, CNA Insurance, and Great American Insurance Group, where he held positions as Chief Insurance Officer, European Chief Underwriting Officer and European Chief Executive Officer.

Peter Törnquist is a seasoned Board Member, Investor and Senior Executive with a massive experience in Financial Services industry. Previously Peter was a Partner at CVC Capital Partners, a Managing Director of Lehman Brothers responsible for its European industrial and Nordic businesses and before that a Senior Partner at Bain & Company responsible for Europe.
